Just when you think he might be genuine, there’s just more surface underneath that surface. It turns out that Yeo-reum’s suit was paid for by Se-ah, who invited him to her charity party and wanted him looking his best. Hoon-dong gets peeved that he seems friendly with Jang-mi too, and Yeo-reum just reminds him that they’re broken up. Hoon-dong counters that she’s just nice to everyone, so it’s not what he thinks. She’s on her way to meet her co-worker Hyun-hee for sympathy makgulli, but Ki-tae follows her all the way there and smoothly introduces himself as Jang-mi’s friend and gets invited along. It’s pretty funny how they decide to go clubbing ’cause that’ll make her feel better, even though she’s standing right there shouting that it won’t.

With Date #1 down, he heads up to Hoon-dong’s room to crash Date #2, playing the part of the clueless best friend who doesn’t know that he’s ruining a romantic evening. He pops their balloons, drinks their champagne, and eats their cake, all while Hoon-dong dances around in the background and Jang-mi strains to keep herself from wringing Ki-tae’s neck. I do like that his character isn’t the typical drama jerk. Because of Yeon Woo-jin, I will continue to watch this one. I did have a bit problem at the beginning (these two first episodes) with the 3 friends who are sort of getting/stealing Jangmi from each other.

Marriage Not Dating Episode 11

She sees now that he was never truly sorry to begin with, and Hoon-dong just breezes that he thought they could be friends. Hoon-dong makes every effort to sing and dance for more bids, but it gets uncomfortably pathetic. Finally the MC suggests he jump in the pool, and Hoon-dong agrees, making sure to say vaguely that he’s jumping for “her,” and she knows who she is.

My week starts with High School King, then Fated to Love You, and ends with Marriage Not Dating. I love the cast and really like Jang-mi a lot. I don’t get the criticisms about her. I don’t see the complaints about the lack of chemistry either.

Oasis ( Episode 3

Probably because up until now the center focus of the show has been really towards the main leads. Though I really love their approaches onto the conflicts and hijinks of those two, I couldn’t help but feel hanging around about the other roles’ motives or something. Anyway, up until now I still love the execution so hoping they could maintain or even surprise us on next episodes. TvN can do no wrong when it comes to rom-coms lately. I am a little late to the party but I thoroughly enjoyed marathoning the first few episodes.

More stuff

(Thank her in the next recap!) We’re hard at work, so please be patient—we’ll be caught up in no time. Thank you very much for this surprise , I checked The website couple of days ago to find out if there is a recap for this promising drama. Now I am glad to see this post. Mostly, I love how they waste no time anywhere telling the story. From the way it starts in the middle – to the rapid fire dialog and fast movement between scenes.

I’ll be back to squee & thoughts about that episode then. She makes her way toward him, and it’s incredibly romantic despite the fact that he doesn’t deserve to be rescued. Ki-tae doesn’t like what he sees, though Yeo-reum smiles to see that Jang-mi hasn’t become so jaded after all.

The writers have a LOT of script written, it seems, and don’t mind sharing it all with us. I thought the same about the second lead character. He does smile alot that it kind of annoys me. Hope his character isn’t going to be like that throughout the entire 16eps! Not that i want him to end up with Jang Mi no matter how good looking or charming he is.

Top cast

Any guy who knows he’s good looking and has no qualms flaunting it is always trouble. So funny and I love the cast.Every episode gets sillier and more hilarious. It has been a while since I watched a drama all over again like 3-4 times in a week while waiting for the next episode to come..

She sees what he’s playing at—he brings home a girlfriend, which gets Mom to back off on the blind dates, while he gets to remain single. She isn’t interested in helping him trick his family though, while he sighs that if he could’ve handled it with a talk he would’ve; it’s not that kind of family. I’m so glad you’re able to recap this show! I watched the first two episodes when I was really tired and had trouble following the sequence of events, and the logic behind.

Han Groo is such a hoot and she has some of the best crazy-eyes I have seen in Kdrama heroines. Yeon Woo Jin (or as I call him “Korea’s Seth Macfarlane”, well I think https://datingstream.org/ he kinda looks like him) doesn’t seem like your typical jerk hero, he’s just trying to hang on to that bachelor life. Jin Woon is trouble with a capital T.

Ki-tae gets a rude awakening of his own when a real estate agent starts showing his house unannounced, and he sits down with Mom for the first time in years. He refuses to give up that house, and she wonders why when it’s not like they had good memories there. Jang-mi’s parents run a little chicken and beer shop, and are currently going through a silent phase where they converse (abundantly) via doodling board and text message. When Jang-mi is around they talk through her, and she screams at them to fight instead.

She goes along with Hyun-hee and even dances with a guy (with their backs turned), before turning around and coming face to face with Hoon-dong. She chases him all the way into his car, and demands an explanation—did she do something wrong? Is Hoon-dong oppa… terminally ill? Ki-tae wonders how she could be so obtuse, and says plainly (and coldly, but at least honestly) that she reeked of wedding hopes and Hoon-dong cut and ran. He looks Jang-mi up and down as he says that woman was desperate to get married too, and shouts into the phone that he isn’t going to marry ever, so they should just give up.
